  1. I could SWEAR the 2nd lady from right in the bottom picture is Susi, who was the In Charge on my second-ever airplane flight, LGW-YEG aboard a Wardair 747. She let me help serve breakfast on the upper deck and my lifelong dream of being a flight attendant was born!

  4. Congratulations Robert!!!! All the best in your flying career, I hope it beats all of your best dreams and expectations! You know flying has changed so much in the last 30 + years I have been flying. The airlines keep taking things away from passengers, seat width, leg room, air flow in the cabin, quality meals, extra charges for the basics like baggage fees etc. But you know what, they can't take away the enthusiasm and heartfelt pride we take in carrying out our duties. After a couple of mergers, I felt discouraged but then one day I thought, it really doesn't matter to most passengers if they are flying Airline A or Airline B. But if they get off the aircraft with a smile and thank you, that was a great flight, that is all that matters to me! It happens all the time, and that is what keeps me going! The real difference is you, keep that in mind and have a wonderful, long, happy flying career! All the best Robert!
